Everyone has the ability to be creative they just need to have the space and encouragement to experiment with different media and techniques........ I can offer you that encouragement and promise you a rewarding, productive experience no matter what your age or ability.
I have always loved drawing and painting even from a child and this love was nurtured by encouraging art teachers and my supportive parents through G.C.S.E's and A-levels to a foundation course at Middlesex Polytechnic and a degree in printed textiles at Glasgow School of Art.
I love the possibilities that being creative can offer and I have used my artistic skills working as a freelance textile designer as well as facilitating workshops with adults and young people.
Now I have my own children and I thrive on seeing them develop and learn new artistic skills and delight in watching them explore the depths of my art box to see what tools they can experiment with and what marks they can make. I am constantly amazed at how unfazed they are using new materials and how keen they are to try mature techniques.
We heart art has been set up to offer you my skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to awaken your inner artist and support you to start developing your own enjoyment of being creative no matter what your age or ability.
